Sustainability in schools

A guide to strategic planning

Paul Cabrelli has recently explored the idea of “sustainability in schools” as a speaker both at the COBIS conference for Bursars, HR Managers and HR staff at St. Julian’s School, and the CEESA Job – a- like conference for Business Managers, Chief Accountants and Facility Managers, arguing that this is a 21st Century issue that must not be ignored.

Drawing on a wide range of sources, Cabrelli suggests that sustainability is not only an educational issue, but something that should be at the heart of any school’s strategic planning, to be taken seriously by Heads and Business Managers working in partnership. His presentation is now available as a PDF. and has been collated on this resources page with a selection some of the key documentation available on the internet to examine the issue.
