Gary Minnitt, Senior Consultant
Accreditation and school improvement specialist, Gary Minnitt joined Consilium Education in 2023.
Before joining Consilium Education in 2023 as a Senior Consultant, Gary served as Director of Accreditation with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) for almost five years. During his time at COBIS he worked with an extensive range of schools across the world, developing the COBIS philosophy and approach to accreditation.
Previously Gary worked in the UK as a teacher, head of department and senior leader before moving overseas to work internationally in four countries as a senior leader and headteacher.
Gary has a particular interest both in developing middle leadership teams and in the largely untapped potential of student partcipation in teacher development and classroom observation. In one student-driven research project he focused on student attitudes and barriers to learning.
